Asbestos Building Inspector / Management Planner Initial Combination

Asbestos Building Inspector Initial

This three-day (24 hour) course will provide the building inspector with an awareness of asbestos, its health hazards and how they relate to the building occupants. It will focus on understanding building systems, bulk sampling, and assessment and inspection techniques for locating “trouble spots”.

Asbestos Management Planner Initial

This two-day (16 hour) course is approved by Pennsylvania and meets the training requirements of the AHERA regulation. Initial training for persons who will be responsible for the study of site inspection reports, the assessment of hazards, and the development of a management plan for control of asbestos in a building. The course agenda includes: evaluation and selection of control options; role of management planner; legal issues; recordkeeping; current federal and state regulations; developing an operations and maintenance plan; and cost estimation.
