This is a five-day class designed to familiarize abatement workers with asbestos, its health effects, regulations and proper abatement procedures. It includes hands-on training involving respirator fit-testing, glove-bagging, work area preparation, decontamination and removal techniques. We provide information about contractor specifications, legal and insurance considerations, record-keeping and supervisory techniques required for the successful completion of asbestos abatement projects.
